Thanks for showing my your duplication setup. If you've gone to that kind of effort, I can understand why you would want the best possible vibration free shot with the camera. I did some experiments with the E-PL1 and the 45mm f2.8 panasonic lens. The E-PL1 has an anti-shock feature where it waits a settable length of time after cocking to release the shutter. I mounted the camera on the wobbliest mini tripod I could find, and took some shots. I didn't see any evidence of shutter vibration with this setup. I used a 2 second delay for anti-shock feature (the default) and had IS turned off. It looks like it'll work OK to me, but of course your mileage may vary.
