Flash isn't a problem for "those of us who know what we are doing"

As a user of EP-1, then EP-2, and now EP-3, I have never used the flash. Turn up the ISO, open up the aperture and your off - natural looking pictures, no red eye, no dark backgrounds. Fine for the point and shoots, but totally unnecessary for those of us who know what we are doing.

I suppose you're not a fan of bounce flash then? Those of us who know what we are doing with a flash never get any off-natural/red-eye/dark background results.

It's not as powerful as a hotshoe flash, but the E-PL1's ability to point upwards has come in handy on many occasions for me.

Photography - It's not what you look at that matters; it's what you see.
