How about an RX100 for casual use and the K5 for more serious action stuff... the RX100 is jean pocketable, so you can even take both with you. I often take both my D700 and my RX100 on outings... the RX100 for movies and i can pass it around for people to use.
There really isnt a mirrorless that can match the K5 for sports.
