M9 with 35mm or Fuji X100 dilemma?

Hi All,

I extensively shoot street with zone focus across Europe. My SLR has 'ruined' some pictures recently by getting too much attention.

I am looking for either one of the below:

1. Used M9 with used 35mm lens

The above will cost about GBP4500

2. New Fuji X100

The above shall cost about GBP650

I will almost certainly never use any other focal length but 35mm or equivalent.

My question is not about the quality or 'experience' as I am ok with both the above options. However, my question is following:

What do you think is the resale value of combination 1 (Leica m9 with 35mm lens) in 2 years time? I would be mega upset if value crashed by more than GBP 500 upon resale in 2 years.

However, please feel free to comment/suggest if you think either combination may have serious pros/cons over the other?
