SX50 -Filter Adapter and Lens Hood

Hi,

I always used 58mm adapters on my SX10-SX50. I never had any problems with shadows in wide angle shots. For my SX40 I bought the original with 67mm. There was no difference - and no difference in quality. It was just plastic for twice as much as the other adapters.

The original lens hood will not fit when the adapter is mounted. It uses the original thread of the camera, not a regular 58mm thread.
