18-300 similar to 70-300 for action ?

Although its still quite new in the market and not much experience might circulate around, not to mention the high price, asking , just in case, do we know maybe if its sports (motorsports, airshows) suitability is on the same level as the 70-300? (and better in this aspect than 18-200 ?)
