Re: No thanks, I prefer PEN + VF

Teru, they have already given you what you are looking for, in the E-PL5. It even follows the styling of the E-P3. I'd take that as a clear sign that it is the true replacement.

I also have the E-PL1, with the VF-2. While it does a fine job, I personally almost never use the camera without the EVF. Sure, it tilts, but that's the only advantage (to me) of this modular build.

I've always said that I would prefer to have a built in EVF, like a PEN FT, but more to the side:

That's what I'm hoping for in the next PEN.

Basically, you can already have what you want. Why shouldn't I get what I want too?

I'm an E-PL1 user and I prefer to have the PENs VF free. I like the compact build of the PENs with the option to plug in a VF when needed. If I wanted a built-in VF, I'd go for the OM-D line.

I want the E-P5 to have the sensor and speed of the OM-D in a PEN body (I own the VF-2 which fits my needs perfectly).

Photography - It's not what you look at that matters; it's what you see.

"Is that a Filofax?"
"No, it's a Moleskine with interchangeable leaves....."
