K-01 future / Pentax thoughts

I would hope they're not ditching it, as it's a surprisingly nifty little camera. I was skeptical about it, at first, but then tried one out at a local camera shoppe and was thoroughly impressed by its handling and performance. Maybe not such a great form factor when using long, heavy lenses without a tripod, but a terrific little device for street shooting and whatnot with shorter lenses.
