Considering E-PL1 for specific use - input, please

The remaining NOS E-PL1 bodies can be bought for very little money at this time.
I would like to use the E-PL1 for copying 35 mm negatives and slides, which I have until now done with an E-620 with very good results. I expect the E-PL1 to do slightly better due to a weaker AA filter. DR and high ISO performance are all meaningless for copying slides. 12 MP are fully sufficient.
My concern is build quality of the E-PL1 body. Is there a particular range of shutter speeds known to be affected by shutter vibrations that impact image sharpness?
