By George I think they've got it! Richmond fixes D800e

That's exactly what they did with my D800. When I tested with the 28/1.8G at infinity, the left AF point was nice and sharp, but the centre AF point was very soft. But that was a while back - I'm surprised they're still trying to pull the same trick.
