Why no Panorama option in GF or G Series?

With new scene modes, filters and options seemingly being added to each new release I wonder why Panasonic havent provided a Panorama option in either their GF or G Series cameras as yet?

I know the Panorama option has been popular with the Sony NEX cameras and even appears in the Panasonic TZ30/ZS20. So why leave it out of the G5 and GF5?
