While I don't do it for every shot, I use the 100% view to check for critical focus frequently.

It was annoying doing the critical focus check with the D80 / D90 / D7000 -- several clicks and some scrolling. I'd often click once two much and have to reverse the zoom. It's much nicer with the cameras that have the one-click-to-zoom that goes right to the focus. A lot of other Nikon bodies have had it for years now.

I couldn't go back now.
