HELP: Question on setting up my new D600
|
Hi,
I just got the new D600 with the 24-85 Kit Lens. I do street photography.
I want to set the camera up so that my focus point in the viewfinder is one point exactly in the middle that stays put.
I would like to know if and how I can set the camera up so that when I center my subject in the viewfinder and press the shutter release 1/2 way down the camera will quickly focus and beep to confirm, the focus point will also light up to confirm that that is indeed the area on which the lens is focused, so that I can then recompose and release the shutter.
If this is possible how do I change these settings? This is my first decent DSLR and I am a little out of my depth.
Thanks for your help.
