Is there anyone out there that has also heard that there is possibly a new firmware update for the D800 to fix the green cast issue and it could be with us very shortly.

Yes, I have heard Nikon will be releasing a firmware update next Monday that fixes the green cast issue. The update will also fix the left AF issue, enable trap focus, expand exposure bracketing, and unthrottle the frame rate to allow continuous shooting at 5 fps (8 with battery grip).

I hear it will fix the Live View 100% magnification image quality, add rainbows to landscapes, and reduce fuel consumption in your car. A Kappa from Shichikashuku told me. Where did you hear?

Rather than a Kappa from Shichikashuku, I heard mine from a Tarot card reader. She was quite the clairvoyant as she knew exactly what I had come to see her for. You should try it, Robin. My mind was blown from the experience.
