EVF better than Rear LCD?

In general the only time I use a rear screen LCD is when its tripod mounted for indoor macro or landscape stuff and sometimes I even use it a bit like a view camera covering everythign with my jacket to blot out the surroundings. But even then when Im actually hunting for a shot I tend to use the OVF. If I could only have one between EVF and LCD I´d go for EVF. I´ve used a camera with only LCD (an olympus EPL-1) which is actually a decent camera for its size and cost, but it was dissatisfaction with only having a rear screen that made me swing towards the X Pro.
