Really simple to get the perfect photograph.

Visit your local store and buy the longest roll of tin foil you can, you know the stuff to wrap a Turkey in the oven so the meat does not dry out.

Next get a carboard box, a widescreen tv box would be perfect and cover both sides with foil having separated the box to reveal two flat panels.

Take a spot meter reading from the window and use that exposure then reflect the light back onto the bench, play around take lots of pics.

You should get powerful results and don't forget let the blacks stay black.

Do try black and white as well but look at this guy who really knows how to light a subject
