Having to pause a series of 105 images is a problem if you have to do it every 10 shots, give or take. You can mechanically compensate and stretch the whole series out but by then you often have to put up with the moving elements - clouds, people etc. etc. Trust me, it's not good for my current work flow, at least not as smoothly as the a850 - never ran into that buffer in 100's of hdr panoramas.
