Cured from glorifying the past!

Am currently going through scanned film shots from the 90s.
Film has the advantage of being oblivious to age, so they say.
Hu?
Looking at these scans I see:
1. scratches caused already during development in professional labs.
2. marks from fungus?
3. Blobs where the negatives have glued together
4. coarse grain though I used ISO 100 to ISO 400 film
5. Still a lot of detail but everything is "textured" with the film grain.
So when I compare to a not overly aggressively saturated and contrasty digital picture,
I don't miss the past.
