OFF TOPIC: PCs vs Macs: How they stack up (Article)

I was talking about a brand new PC which is taken care of by a proper sys-admin and I don't see what the registry has to do with the fact that Windows still has many problem with proper multitasking.

But the fact alone that the registry need this much attention is a drawback of Windows. It's like saying that to drive a car you should be a mechanic, or have one close-by. Which in the early years of the automobile was indeed the case, but over time cars became so reliable that a garage visit once a year is enough. Computers still need to reach that stage, even macs...
