The boring truth is that all modern cameras with the same sensor size have almost the same low light performance. The difference from the worst (Canon DSLR and Sony SLT) to the best (Nikon DSLR, Pentax DSLR and Sony NEX) is approx. 0.5 stop, and the reasons for that difference are well understood.

Any test which shows larger differences is flawed, and those flaws are also well understood (comparing photos at different magnifications of the full photo or taking photos of the same scene with different exposure settings).

Those of us who have understood this do not waste our time searching for differences in low light performance based on random photos from different sources on the internet. We know that the size of the test error would be much larger than the actual difference between the cameras.
