V1 good for street photography?

I exchanged my d90 because my MS made it too diificult to use
and the v1 was a good replacement at the time , for travel , candids etc
the v1 is a great camera for for these
but for real stealth how about looking out of the box,
I've recently been trying the sony rx100, really small, really silent ,
great IQ

if all you need is a street camera and you have no problems hauling your dslr for everything else try the sony or similar (ricoh , canon..)
