Third party lens for Sony are overpriced

Has anyone else noticed that Sigma and Tamron sell lenses for the Sony A mount for the exact same price as their Nikon and Canon models even though the Sony lens does not offer image stabilization? Nikon and Canon mounts have in lens image stabilization on the same lens for the same price. The Sony version should be hundreds of dollars less as we don't get the image stabilization. Kind of stinks as it would make the lens more useful on the NEX series using the adapters if we got the same type of lens features as the Nikon/Canon universe.
