Front Curtain Shutter - NEX-7

is anyone having problems using front curtain shutter with Minolta lenses? The NEX-7 manual says to turn it off because it may get the exposure wrong or result in uneven light? I'm using my Minolta glass with the LAEA2 adaptor and I haven't noticed a problem yet but maybe the problem is subtle or intermittent?
