Built in wireless flash?

In looking at the NEX camera specs, only NEX-6 and NEX-7 mention wireless flash mode with external flash. I'm assuming that this is the same wireless control that the Sony DSLR/SLT use to control the external flash, but does anyone know for sure?

I realize that the NEX-6 may be a bit new to be in anyone's hands other than a pre-production unit, but NEX-7 has been around for awhile. I have a couple Minolta/Sony '36' flashes and it would be interesting to know if they'll work in wireless mode with any NEX and without adding remotes.
