Is anyone using their dslr for video?

That's a pretty good start, an expensive one but then again once you start getting into stabilizing your rig it's going to get expensive. A great place to look for DIY stuff is cheesy cam.com and pretty much anything related to using dslrs for video and time lapse type projects. Hope that helps
