I got my hands on a D600 for 2 days of use this past weekend, and my own Canon is the 60D. Jumping to another Canon like a Rebel, I know the menus, but the controls' placement throws me off.

I felt very at home handling the D600 except for the bracketing button and bracketing setup seems odd after being used to Canon's way. Given time, I could adapt though. Nikons menus are great, other controls felt logical.

The 60D feels better to me with a heavy lens. That's just one man's opinion.

I used the D600 with a Nikkor 50mm f1.8G lens and could not get good focus at 2-3 feet but it could have been the lens? Overall, images from the D600 vs my 60D were not significantly better, not with this lens that is. IMHO, the ergonomics are great on the D600, just different than Canon.
