GXR with Eye-Fi Pro X2?

I'm using one in my GRD4 . The GRD has settings in the menu to stop the card transmitting, The GXR does not, so i suspect the GXR would be transmitting all the time the camera is switched on. That would use up power quicker.

The reason i bought the card in the first place was to transfer shots from my GRD to my phone, so i could email them from the field so to speak. If i am at home i just use a reader. Its quicker and easier.
