A little bit off topic but does anyone know the estimated life span of the 14-24 mm/f2.8, 24-70mm/f2.8, and 70-200mm/f2.8 lenses? I have all three, plus the 17-55mm/f2.8 for my D300 body.

I just read a review by Ken Rockwell on one of those 85mm/f1.8 or 28mm/f1.8 or something in that neighbor saying the lenses are made in China and they only have a life span of about 10 years.

I would be very disappointed to know those higher end, FX lenses would have life span of 10 years, such as the 14-24, or 70-200? I would think they will last a life time with proper care/handling.
