Photo viewer needed

Hello, I need a photo viewer/organizer that has color management, gives a good sharp representation of both Nikon and Canon raw files, has side-by-side comparison of two photos and most specifically has a labeling/category system that will allow me to do the following - create category/label called AAA for example and then let me display all the photos that are NOT listed in that category in a specific directory on the disk. And it should be able to work directly with folders on my harddrive, I don't like programs like Lightroom or Picasa that need to import the photos to their inner database.
Is there anything like this out there?
