D600: a pretty quiet introduction...

I think Nikon seriously screwed up predictions here between the D800 and D600. They seriously underestimated the demand for a new FF camera and got a bunch of people to jump early on the D800 that didn't really need it, and truth be told would be better off with the D600. If they had released both at the same time, it would be very interesting to know what would have happened. I'm curious which body has more profit built into it, I assume it is the D800 and therefore Nikon should be happy short term. Long term though, I think Nikon is better off with people buying the right body for them so they stay with the system and buy more lenses instead.
