I have the 45-175mm and must say it's worth the difference in money with the Olympus 40-150mm that I had for a very short time.
This lens is perfect for long hikes or full day events where medium long zoom is necessary. Though it's relatively slow aperture it's AF is fast enough for action.
I use it on the E-M5. I like, that it's internal focus and zoom, haven't seen the double exposure issue yet. But then again I have used it outside in good weather up to now. It's capable of good sharp results on the long end.
I have no regrets I shelled out the extra cash for the 45-175mm in stead of buying the cheaper 40-150mm Olympus.

Hi,
I just received my 45-175mm lens from Amazon today ($216). When I first took out the lens, I noticed there was a rattle sound. When I shake the lens, there is a rattle sound. Is this normal for this type of lens? I can't tried it on my GH1 since I lent my GH1 to a friend.
Also, has anyone have hands on experienced on the 45-175mm vs the 45-200mm in terms of picture quality?
Thanks.
