D700 Advice

Not sure about the 50mm G lens unless your referring to the new AFS G version, its far superior to the older version, a few pounds more but worth it, I use the 50mm f1.4 AFS lens on my D700, that is a real beaut. Havent heard of the flash in the UK unless its sold under another name, Tamron are good but check out the Sigma range, (DG versions are full frame)
