Yes you are right. Obviously, if he mentions that a D400 is on the way, more than one will wait until then to make a decision of either staying faithful to DX, or moving towards full frame.

However, considering this is the lowest priced full frame ever and that many users never jumped intoo the full frame wagon because of budget issues I have the feeling that the D600 is going to make history.

Now you can justify all the weigh and hassle of a SLR because of the full frame sensor.

Keep in mind that I have a D7000 that I love to death, however, it does not feel alright when you see mirrorless cameras that will provide similar if not equal for less money and on top of that they are way lighter and smaller.

I think that there will be more DX slrs but not for logn considering that camera prices have been going down lately so it is highly possible that the sucessor of the D600 will be around $ 1500.....
