Thanks for the comment very fair of you. I couldn't resist taking one of the units apart, too complex for me to mess with though, as far as I can see down the unit there are eight or maybe ten capacitors attached to their own PCB with really thick tracks, above that is another PCB for the the other components, lots of them. It would need someone with more knowledge than I have to modify it.

I am impressed with the internal build quality though and the case, which I thought would be metal pressing but is in fact an alloy extrusion.
