Win 7 and IE 9 machine

Since getting this new machine, I experience a lot of "wating for (insert webpage here)" alot when using IE9. Some times it results in "page canot be displayed" and a refresh takes you to it.

NO responses to switch to another software please

At first I though it was Norton, but no longer using it. Yes I used their removal tool. DOes it also in safe mode.

Any thoughts?
