Sony a57 with 18-55mm kit lens or a37 with 18-135 kit lens

Ok Guys and Girls
i would really like your help here

I have at the moment the Sony hx20v, which I like very much and have learnt a lot from it, but I fell I want to take my photos and myself to the next level.

Now money is a big factor here, I do not have much, this really is the max I can go.
I do like the sound of the Sony's I know the menu system etc
but I am open to other suggestions as long as it is within this price range.
i have read up on both some have some understanding of the +- of each
So is it to be the Sony a57 with 18-55mm kit lens or a37 with 18-135 kit lens
