FZ200 for a tourist
Sep 25, 2012

Hello,

I took daylight photos with the FZ200.
I am happy with the result.

I took night photos with a tripod.
I am still happy.

Now I have taken photos (91) in Qu├ębec,
by night, handheld.
Like I would do when I will take a trip abroad.

Like a tourist, handheld, no tripod, wandering in a new city.

Sometime in Ia (Iso as high as 800), most of the time in P,
F:2.8, Iso 400, S:1/8, all decided by the camera.

And, home, I worked on them like I always do with ACDSee Pro 5.

Finally one pass through Noiseware, at default.

And I am still happy.

Is there noise? Probably but Noiseware took care of that.
Is there 'purple'. Probably but colorblind (me) dont see it.

They are not blur, even at 1/8, because FZ200.

You can see them at the address below:

A tinyurl would be better...

but I think DpReview scrap that.

Anyhow, the professionnel (don't be cruel) won't like my photo but I hope the tourists will.

Final note: I will soon decide if I take on my next trip only one camera, the FZ200 or two:
my G1 with a 14-45 lens for day, a 17mm F:1.7 for the night
and
a ZS15 in my shirt pocket for... the reach.

Thanks for your patience.

Pierre, happy Pierre.
