Welcome to photography. If I may suggest you start with a travelzoom camera or a superzoom camera to learn what you like to photograph rather than a dslr and and a humongous lens.
Travelzoom cameras have lenses that cover the range you specified and superzoom cameras have longer lenses.
FYI, in general, the more capabilities built into a lens, ultra-wide angle to super-telephoto, the poorer the performance. The old saying of a jack of all trades and the master of none fits the type of lens you ask about.
The best lenses tend to be single focal length lenses not zoom lenses. Once you find what you enjoy, then you can research the best lens for your type of photography Until then, I feel, you will be better served by all in one cameras such as the Canon Elph 510.
