RX100 5-10 sec to shoot a BW photo? WTF? RX100 vs Fuji X10

Posting here is "searching for a solution". The Fuji X-10 has twice as many physical buttons and the menus make more sense.

For instance when you are in panorama mode:
Fuji gives you the choice of 120,180,360 degrees

Sony gives you no options. You need to know that there are hidden options buried in the menu, click a dozen times in the menu and choose between panorama standard/wide which are not explained except in the manual.

Useability aside, the horizontal panoramas I get from the Sony are so cropped in height that they are useless.
