Lens suggestion for photographing small NYC apartment?

Hello! I have a NEX-5N with the kit 18-55 lens, and will soon be taking some photos of my NYC apartment (before a new building blocks the water view soon!)

Does anyone have suggestions for a lens that would work better than the 18-55 for this purpose? The apartment is a 1 bedroom (850 square feet) with floor to ceiling windows, which let in a lot of light. We are looking to do daytime, sunset, and night time photos.

Renting a lens would be great, but the only rental I see on lensrentals.com is the Sony 16mm. Would that lens really be any better than my 18-55?

If it helps, I have attached a professional photo that was taken of a similar apartment (minus the furniture, etc.)
