RX100 5-10 sec to shoot a BW photo? WTF? RX100 vs Fuji X10

The Fn button is what took me to the effects menu in the first place which is useless to me cause it's so slow. There is no access to the "Creative Style" from "Fn" . To get to to the "Creative Style" I need to go to "Menu" and then click a dozen more times.

There must be a way to add items to the Fn button that I'm missing.
