nikon 510 vs cnon sx50

I have seen some really nice pictures taken with nikon 510 and like the way it feels in the hand,however canon has come out with the sx50 and I was wondering is anyone had any thoughts on what camera might be a better choice all things considered.

The canon will cost more but seemingly has more to offer like a hotshoe and raw .Of course since the canon is not yet out IQ cant be determined but someone might have experience with the sx40.Thank you.
