Ye, It is correct. Even when camera is off you will see some info on LCD.
I can't get the "beep" AF confirmation to work, I have chosen volume level but it doesn't work any ideas?
Camera will beep only if you are in AF-S mode. You are probably on AF-A or AF-C...
