I asked myself this because I also asked myself whether Fuji identified the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th best arrangements and patented those as well?!?!

The Bayer pattern has 18 Green plus 9 each Red and Blue in a 36-pixel grid.
The Fuji has 20 Green plus 8 each Red and Blue.
