OMD-EM5 humming NOT from IBIS?

Hi there,

I'm trying the Pana p14-42x lens on the omd. One of the first questions I wanted to be answered was which stabilization would work and as I read the IBIS takes always over. Ok. BUT I also read that the infamous omd-em5 humming comes from the IBIS. How come ,then, if I turn stabilization off in the menu, the humming is still there? Could someone run a test by turning it of and putting an ear on the camera?

I gather there's no way to try the OIS of a Pana lens on the OMD unless they implement via fw update that new feature of the latest pens, I'm I right?
