Canon 200mm f2.8 anyone?

Excellent lens for all the reasons already mentioned here: relatively inexpensive, compact, fast focusing and very, very sharp.

I use the 200 f2.8 and 100 f2 instead of the 70-200 f2.8 and I'm very happy with the two lenses. A tiny bit less convenient than the zoom but the combo is cheaper and weighs less the zoom. An added benefit is that the 100 at maximum aperture (f2) has a much nicer look than the zoom does at 100mm and maximum aperture (f2.8).
