I have the new Olympus flash because I still use the 466 with my Panasonic G1. I tried it with the OM-D - works perfectly in slave mode or mounted in the shoe. You might have a defective unit. I would like to know how Nissin responds to your inquiries. I like the flash - price, function- but the new Olympus flash (FL 600R) blows it away (swivel head, LED illluminator, wireless etc)
