29% difference on D800
In reply to Dan, Sep 23, 2012

I think I made my conclusion too quickly. On his D800 page, the difference between the 45 MB/s and 95 MB/s cards is 29%.

If that is the same on the D600, I'm not sure if I should get a pair of 32GB 95 MB/s cards or a pair of 64 GB 45 MB/s cards. I really don't want to spend $300 on memory cards at this moment.

This also shows how much faster compact flash cards can be. Very informative.

Thanks so much for the link. I look forward to his D600 tests. For now the D7000 tests will have to do.

I see a 9% increase in transfer rate going from the 45 MB/s cards to the 95 MB/s cards. I think I'm going to conclude that it isn't worth double the price.

I ended up purchasing a pair of 64 GB Sandisk 45 MB/s cards for my D600, so based on that website, I think I made the right choice.

Thanks again!
