It's actually pretty funny how many moose people see daily in Homer but in my entire week there we did not see a single one!

My back yard - 50' or less from the house. A rather annoying daily occurrence! After i took this photo the buck lowered his head, cocked it to one side, and said I was bothering him. Outside Payson, Arizona, where I can count on seeing a 6x6 elk weekly - uh, in the fall, that is! Our home is on the game trail and I was forced to put up a 6' chain link fence to discourage them. Of course they can jump 8' straight up when the need arises. The point being, critters are where you find them!!!!!!

By the way, bear breath smells terrible!!!!! Been there!!!!! Got lucky.
