How efficient do you think that would be?

The point of this thread is that a society that provides opportunity for EVERYONE, is one that has an efficient tax structure and programs that encourage an educated population that continues to move everyone forward. Like the US when taxes were a lot higher and there were significant investments in infrastructure, education, research, etc.
